Could be, but there are some vintage clothes that really shouldn’t be seeing the light of day every again….checked lining in DJs are one of them.

People who like vintage-clothes (me included…lol) love that all this stuff has some kind of “story” to tell, but you’re right, some shouldn’t see the light again, like the 80ties shoulder padding or such! It’s nicer to mix old stuff with new clothes…..anyway he obviously gives not so much attention to clothing and that’s something I really LOVE plus his stuff looks ALL GOOD on him!

I felt the same about light blue denim, almost felt sick phisically when seeing it, and finally ended up buying a tunique in said fabric, but I still generally hate the colour (only mine was cool :)).
In the meantime, I googled TomSTu since I was so concerned with him being dumpt by Robsten. I can now breathe calmly he’s been in The States for a film festival.

I’ve got problems with distressed denim….don’t mind it when it’s gone that way natural through wear, but that manufactured distressed denim really upsets me.
I’ve got a really light denim jacket (think it may have started off dark), but it’s from the 70s bought it from a secondhand shop in Camden years ago and is now basically hanging together by threads, but I just can’t part with it. The cuffs are practically handing off, the collar’s frayed, there’s holes in both elbows…but I just can’t let it go….I love it, I love it, I love it. Sounds really bad I know, but it’s got the most fantastic shape and I’ve never found another Denim Jacket to compare with it, actually think I may marry it! Don’t know what I’m going to do when it gets so bad I can’t wear it anymore, will probably hold a funeral for it, and morn it’s passing forever more.

I’m from Tennessee! College Football (American) is not a sport around here I swear it’s a freakin’ religion!! LMAO I’m a HUGE Tennessee Vols fan. My car is all decked out during football season with a crap-load of orange & white. Just one of the ‘perks’ of being raised in the Dirty South, I guess!! My husband won’t watch football with me because I get TOO involved in the games & yell at the TV. His best friend’s wife is the same way so on Saturdays in the fall she & I hang out watching football while the husbands go have a guys night & get drunk! It’s great! Hopefully no one is too terribly offended by my email address! 😀

Hell yeah I’ll be your BFF!!! Where you from in Tennessee? My 11 yr old son use to be a good kid til he was corrupted by my family Now he’s supposedly a ‘Bama fan. Of course that’ll probably change if they suck next year!! I can always continue to hope & pray he will grow out of the “I’m a fan cuz it bugs mom” phase & go back to the good boy I know is hiding deep down!! LMAO What’s funny is my family if from Atlanta so why they’re dang ‘Bama fans I’ll never know!! Even growing up in Atlanta, I was always a VOLS fan (mostly cuz I like the colour Orange!!) because my grandfather always liked them!!

That’s funny! Me neither! And I’m running around in a pair of UT Sweats & UT t-shirt! Hell, even my shoes are orange & white!! I found them at FootLocker last week & (being the spoiled housewife I am) the hubby got them for me!! It’s funny, a lot of my family didn’t understand my email address. They ask what it meant!! I’d usually say something like DUH what football team am I ALWAYS wearing?! Gees! Then understanding dawns & they feel dumb. Mission accomplished!! 😀 😀

Rob needs to come to Tennessee! He might like it here. It really is beautiful here & we all have that “cute little accent” the Brits like so much!! Oh wait, lots of people from anywhere else seem to like this accent that we southerners have! I never thought I had an accent until I moved to Europe with my mom & stepdad (Army brat here)! Then everyone said stuff about how awesome then southern accent is! I was only 10 when we lived in Sicily & 12ish when we moved to Germany & almost 15 when we moved to Lakenheath England. By then I THOUGHT my ‘accent’ was gone, but everytime we’d come home to visit the accent just came back naturally! I don’t mind so much now. I don’t have a thick southern accent, but I do have one. Most people here know I haven’t lived here my entire life because of the lack of an accent, but when I go visit my stepdad’s family in Phoenix they all comment & try to immitate my southern accent. It’s funny!! I don’t get offended by it because I know they aren’t making fun of me. Actually, I usually play it off like I’m flattered & I tell people they’re just jealous they don’t have the Southern accent!!I can immitate just about any accent thanks to spending nearly 8 years in Europe!! I saw an interview with Rob on YouTube where the chick interviewing him was from Nashville & he kept saying “I love your accent. It’s so adorable. I need to go to where you’re from so I can hear it all the time!” I kept thinking PLEASE ROB COME TO TENNESSEE the adorable accent is EVERYWHERE!! COME TO TENNESSEE!!!!!!

Do you have a link to that interview? Would love to hear him say that! About the accent: anytime I go ANYWHERE that’s out of the south people are always saying “Where are you from? I love the way you talk!” and “Say that again, it’s so cute the way you say it!” Love it! I wouldn’t change it for anything.
And I could say something naughty about telling Rob to come to Tennessee but I won’t… LOL.

But it’s awesome just knowing that he likes our accent. I think I read somewhere that he’d like to come to Nashville. Something to do with music. Paramore and Kings of Leon are both from there. BTW, my car was totally unhurt…God I love a good German car!! My poor Mazda has been thru hell, has 225,000 miles on it & it just keeps on goin’!! I, on the other hand, hit my face on the steering wheel since I’m only 5’3″ & drive a straight shift making me sit dangerously close to the steering wheel in order to push the stupid clutch in. I think it’s time for the hubby to look into getting me an automatic vehicle. 😦
