I also miss solas. I always read her comments. But i didn’t see her for a couple of months. She is writing a book about a souls and that kind of stuff, so she is prob very busy. And about that theory, Rob said in some interview that he had trauma after his father took him to swimming pool and get naked. So i think he don’t like nudity, maybe becasue he is so shy. And he didn’t feel comfortable in this shoot, he looked embarrassed to me.

My initial reaction was the same…I was like “WTF?” when I read the vagina line. But as I read the article several more times and paid attention to the CONTEXT in which he said it, I realized that like JodieO said, it was just his adorkable, Rob way of saying he was very uncomfortable with having naked women around him on the set all day.
#1 – The vagina quote is right after the interviewer writes this: “He tried to let go a little bit with the photo shoot accompanying this interview—it wasn’t easy.”
#2 – Right after the vagina comment he says “But I wasn’t exactly prepared. I had no idea what to say to these girls.”
So if you couch the comment in between those two things, I think it is clear that he’s not outing himself as being gay, he’s just saying that is was uncomfortable.
Plus he talks about in the article how he’s trying to push himself and relinquish control and do thinks he’s maybe not comfortable with. The photoshoot is one of those things.
I actually think he might kind of like all the controvery swirling around now. He’s never been comfortable or felt deserving of all the adoration he gets so I think he might get a kick out of all this. IMO

@D2D and GGGP – I’m seriously concerned about the young people of today. None of my nephews can interpret a situation based on context. Absolutely everything is taken at face value. Not often, but I was an art major in college, which meant nude models. Which is fine so long as it’s quiet and you are just drawing and you are observing line and form. But as soon as you take a break and they come over to peek at your work and chit chat with you it’s suddenly super awkward. MP hear hear! Some people have such a strange ideal of who Rob is…wow. But I do find it interesting there are so many different “angles” on one interview…I personally found it very funny and I love him more for it.

I know I went through the the same emotional rollercoaster ride, remember he’s only 23 years old, and we worship him, we definately expect much more from him, he has never dissapoint us, right? I personally think that we have to remember how we have known him all this time, lets not allow this interview to change his image , because that’s just not him. It’s a shitty interview, I can’t believe it’s actually a woman conducting it?? That’s my thing about it as well. It WAS interesting though, could have been great, but the confusion it still caused means there’s something off.
I did some research though about the woman who wrote it. Not a journalist, but a SCREEN WRITER…explains A LOT…
This is my point of view: some writers can be excellent journalists and some journalists can be excellent writers. But not all can do both…
Just saying…I know that it’s a trend that writers or even other celebrities interview celebrities. A magazine named Interview does that all the time.
Don’t care much for the trend. Interviewing someone and writing said interview is not that easy. She may or not may not have experience in journalism before, couldn’t find that anywhere…
But don’t take me too seriously, I’m biased, I look at it with a professional eye as well. And with Rob as the subject, I’m even more critical; not of him, but of the quality.
It was written like an anecdote, like telling about a conversation you had with an eccentric friend. Parts were okay, parts were really bad. She left open too many questions like I said before. Not good. I just believe that sometimes less is more.

MP I’m in Ontario (the oppsite end of the country to where the Olympics are)…BC is BEAUTIFUL for skiing…I’m a chicken shit myself….but I love me some taboozing (tabagoning + drinking)….I have a few friends in British Columbia right now and they are totaly amazed with how beautiful everything is, etc.

No problem. Additionally, there is a lot to talk about with undiagnosed STD’s. This may be of special interest to you, since the era of ‘Bel Ami’ was rife with these and considering a recent comment of yours.
I was going to cite more examples of gross fungal, bacterial, viral and parasitic infections here, but the LTR ladies may not like it.

Hmmm, I am thinking about immigrating to the UK/US because I don’t think any Dutch publication ever interviewed him.
But maybe I should publish a book, get it translated in English and get Rob to star in a movie adaptation. And then interview him about it. That’s it. I see no other way. Will start typing now. Any ideas?
