Well hello LTR ladies! I am HOME from THE SHOW! What a night, what a night.
To hear Sam and Bobby in person was fabulous as Youtube, as great as they sound there, does not do either of them justice. They are FABULOUS in person. Sam is very high energy and really funny.
At one point he said he was going to do a song that he hadn’t done before and I knew what it was from the description and I yelled out “paradise!” and he was really surprised that anyone knew that! That is one of my fave songs and you can download it for free on ReverbNation.
During Too Far Gone, Sam said that the girl that he wrote that song about called him that day out of the blue because she saw him on TV. It was pretty funny because he was like ‘Oh, NOW she wants to talk to me!’ then he said she probably just wanted to talk to his ‘friend’, and JBell yelled out, ‘Which friend?’ and he jokingly said, ‘oh no one you know!’ Too funny – it’s great he can make fun of the fact that he knows we all found him through Twilight.
The meet and greet could have been more organized. There wasn’t much room and some girls were pushing their way in. Hence my snarky remark which I wrote about on yesterdays post this morning. Basically, a girl pushed me from behind just as I was getting to meet Sam and yelled “MY TURN” and I, well, wasn’t so nice to her. I really just said, ‘NO, it’s NOT your turn – there is a LINE’, but it was said right in front of Sam…and I’m not sure he heard/saw the drunk girl push and yell, so i looked like the nut. Great first impression, huh? Sam was worried there was going to be a fight and I was, in a word, mortified. My only hope is that there are WAY worse fan encounters to outshine mine..not that I want him to have bad fan encounters…I just don’t want him to remember me, at all
I was so second and first hand embarrassed. The girls said it looked like he totally knew that wasn’t my fault, but still – I should have just ignored drunk pushy girl….I apologized to him later, and he said it was ok – but I fear that my returning to him to apologize only made me look like more of a crazy fangirl – Ugh….meeting Sam TOTALLY didn’t go how I planned. I go not want to meet anyone ever again, because now it’s tarnished 
I’ll love them from afar 
But, that being said – he was really very nice.
But, Anyhoo….after I awkwardly got my pic with Sam, JBell and Carrie got in there. That’s when I told him that there was a letter to HIM today and not to his friend…and he laughed and said, ‘oh yeah – I heard about that – but haven’t had a chance to comment yet!’ I said, “oh, so you DO visit us there, then?’ and he just laughed. Then he went on to say that he thought the beginning of the letter to him was ‘really harsh’. I fear that he thinks we don’t like him over here! I told him we are big fans of his over here…but I’m not sure he believed me.
We got in line for Bobby with Carrie very excited! We got him just as he was getting ready to leave. Simba met Nala – all is good
Then I took a cab and Jetbaby, Carrie and JBell tried to follow them in Jetbaby’s car, but no luck
I’m about to upload Sam video on Youtube and I’ll link to it. I have no video of Bobby which is a shame because he was wonderful too – but I was running out of batteries and wanted to make sure I had power left for pics after.
That’s the story – JBell and Carrie and Jetbaby will certainly have their own stories to tell as well.
It was a pleasure meeting them and I had fun and hope I didn’t second hand embarrass them with the drunk girl – hopefully with the beer they didn’t even notice. If I did, I apologize. It was a very small incident really, but to me, the timing was terrible and I feel really awful about it…..

I HOPE he doesn’t even remember it. Hopefully all the drunk fan girl faces blend together. I was only mildly drunk….not enough not to care about it, and enough to probably be making a big deal out of it!

Hi all! Sorry I haven’t been around much today, I’m trying to get packed (still not…ugh, I hate packing) and running last minute errands. I’m leaving tomorrow for San Jose, CA to help my sister move to Denver. We’re driving Monday – Tuesday and then I fly home Thursday, so I’ll be back online May 1st. I will be without internet access b/c my sister’s computer is packed and on a moving truck and I don’t have a fancy cell phone where I can check in online.
So if something exciting happens someone text me (JBell I’m assigning you to keep me up to date with Rob news!) Hi B, I am not too happy with the set up. I’m trying to be but I feel left out like a new poster. Not easy to jump in and not as many posting. What I heard about R/K is that there was an eye witness that they were holding hands in the grocery and looking at tabloids laughing but when they drew attention the broke apart. That’s all I’ve heard there.

Ted C never knows anything, so I’m not going to be fussed about it. He’s as bad as Lainey. In fact, the more I hear about Robsten, the less I buy into it, I think it’s adding interest in the movie and people are doing whatever they can to keep it all in the news. I’m not saying they don’t have interest in each other in some capacity, but I think neither really confirming or denying is good PR.
My crappy week, well I’ve been in bed by 9 every night this week, I’ve had more due than I expected, my family has required an obscene amount of attention, this pesky Robsten crap keeps coming up and I’m well past over it and don’t even get me started on the crap with NReed, I’ve been fighting with my Mom and sister and tomorrow I’m expected to have a family picture taken, which I think we’re all too old for and I despise having my picture taken.
I’ve read most of the comments and I’m sorry to have worried you guys, I just never had a chance to step in. I’ve missed you guys though and your fanfic talk is absolutely ok with me, I don’t feel left out.

Confession: I’ve got a notebook where I write letters to Rob regularly–have for months–and I just go there and tell him all my worries just like we were those buds in college where you sit around talking. Crazy, I know, but I had to get those intense feelings out somewhere and that helps. I tell him my opinions about the pros and cons w/K and what books I’ve just read and movies I wonder if he has seen and ideas for movies that he would be good in and ideas I’ve had for my jewelry, etc., etc. It helps but not like a real person who talks back or emails you back. Now THAT would be my dream!

Can’t get behind Robsten, no real problem with Kristen, I just don’t like them together. Want Rob to be happy, but I’m sorry I honestly don’t see this great romance they are supposed to be having, further I think everyone is so confused with reality, media speculation, their own speculation and other’s theories they have no freakin idea what’s what anymore. Love Rob though, if he wants to date her, I just wish they’d come out with it, yeah I won’t like it, but secrets are annoying.

Yes before the whole Rob thing I would write letters to whomever. Sometimes I would burn them and let them go into the Universe. It feels very freeing. I had been saying for a few years how I needed a friend–you know since I lost my BFF about 5 years ago. Then I reconnected with the BFF from grade school again last summer and she has been so helpful. It goes both ways because she needed someone too. But she doesn’t have a computer at home–only office so it’s a little limiting. Then I met you guys here and it feels really good to have some friends again. Much as I love hubs, it’s not the same as gfs.
