chatter is chatter! pics and vids will be copied over to the specific cats if you want too! That way it is “archived” somewhere and not just in the chats!

This is my first ever comment in LTR.
I have been following your blogs for three to four months now but never once had the courage to write a single comment. So I thought its time to deflower my LTRcommentVirginity (girls, did i say it right?)

My love for this man is unknown to everyone in my life except two of my friends (who are okay with it). Untill now I was so unsure about whether or not I should join all of you wonderful and beautiful ladies from around the world. That reminds me, I am from India, Asia. I am sorry about the long comment but please understand it’s my first comment and I wanted to introduce myself, first.

Summit didn’t release ‘twilight’ in the land of largest movie goers. I know that at that time it was not possible for them to release it over here.
But we are the largest movie producers in the world and our national communication language is English despite our diverse mother tongue.

Am I going to get slapped if I say that I actually prefer the comments over the forum? Don’t get me wrong, I love that we have a forum and I will definately participate there. I’ve just never been big on forums because if you fall behind it’s hard to keep up and to find where you last posted you have to sift through pages and posts to find where you’re at to catch up to what others have posted. It’s harder to have a constant back and forth exchange at forums. I always get impatient with them. But don’t get me wrong, I love that we have a forum, it’ll especially come in handy for photos and videos and magazines scans! And I think it’s amazing the time and effort it went through to get one! I appreciate that indeed! I just really love our comments here as they are so easy to sift through and reply to. So I hope we don’t stop using the comments section here. I hope I don’t sound negative about all of this. I’m an LTR/LTT forum supporter, don’t get me wrong, I just love love love our comment section to! I’m not complaining, I’m just saying. Should I be ducking?

I kind of agree. I like that I can see what EVERYONE says on here, and I don’t wanna miss a great picture or something because I didn’t check in on the right board. So I don’t know if we are allowed to post pics and links in the Daily chat over there like we are here?

@SnMLamb, I think at the forum we’ll probably have
pages where we can post photos and links just like here.
I would assume for example that photos as attachments
or links would go in the “Rob doesn’t take a bad photo”

I couldn’t agree more – but I definitely understand the need to make one, with the comments getting more popular and some people wanting to talk about things that others didn’t. So yea, I understand the need to make one, but I will have fond memories of the comments!

will be categorized so if we’re looking
for something we’ll know which page to go to,
and we can post, actual photos and mp3s and vids then nobody will
have to upload to youtube or mediafire to link here,

methinks that moon and UC appreciate any kind of opinion.
i think it’s the change… people were weirded out when we got the “Newer Comments” and “reply” links added to the comments section. with this forum, it takes time to get used to. once you figure out which sections bulletins you prefer to be on, it’ll get easier to navigate.

I’m with you Jena – I’ll participate in the forum no doubt. But my main participation will be here in comments. Just love the feel of it and I resist change. But it’ll be fun to keep an ongoing tab of different topics we discuss over at the forum.
Is there a section for letters over there — like letters that we’ve all written (vs. UC and Moon)? Haven’t been able to get on long enough to check it out.

ha ha…I love the comments too, but you have to admit they were getting pretty unmanageable…
the forum is a great addition though…and allows UC and Moon to have help, and also have lives outside of Letters without worrying about how it’s running.
Don’t worry if it’s not your thing, I’m sure a lot of people feel the same. I know
It’s hard to get over not wanting to miss things, but remember, we’re all friends…just ask, and we’ll keep you up to date on what’s being said in the forums!

I know that it’s just the first day but I don’t think the forum will get less popular with time, and I just cannot handle the slowness, it makes me so anxious! @Jena, WTM, and LS – Oh thank God i am NOT alone. I don’t want to sound like a complainer, I think i prefer this ‘comments’ board too. I like to be able to see everyone at once and all the comments without having to jump page to page. I’m sue the forum will be great when some want to have a specific discussion (like Robsten or FF). I am a technotard and maybe I am just being resistant to change. I think I’m gonna stay right here for now as long as I know there will still be some of you here with me. I am sure I will eventually register over at the forum. I might just wait til kinks are worked out and IfOnly is around to help me cope! Love you girls!

I was doing homework… then I ended up on LTR… then i found out that there’s a LTR & LTT FORUM… damn, i’m not getting my degree. Ever.
No, seriously, i’ve been checking LTR for a while now and you guys are so funny & smart! I’ve stopped feeling bad for being a 20-something woman obsessed with Rob.. in fact, i’m really proud of it and since i’ve been so enthusiastic about it lately, my girlfriends are now getting obsessed with rob as well. Now I kinda have my own “quad” or, better said, “latin quad”… because yeah, i’m latin. I’m from uruguay (no, it’s not in africa… it’s right between argentina & brazil)… sooo my chances of meeting rob are like below 0%, but it’s OK. YOU guys make my day, and you totally deserve to meet rob!

The one thing I’m gonna throw out there is that I DON’T like having siggys. The comments and posts get lost in between all the huge pictures and other sigs.

PS – Yes, I know I have a siggy, but I worked really hard on it and I love it. lol
I have resigned myself to giving it a week or so to give my full opinion ;] Everyone is all over the place today because it’s all so new, but it will calm down and get back to normal eventually.

Take what we do here in the comments and apply it to the “Daily Chat” section at the forum. Go ahead and post the links/pics/news/whatever over there! We’re not gonna kick you out, promise!
The “Daily Chat” section should, in all likely hood, be the most posted in section. If you find something worth interest or think maybe you personally will want to reference it later, post it in the “Daily Chat” section and again in it’s proper section. If not, that’s what the moderators are for! We’ll sift through the “Daily Chatter” and move things as we see fit.
Ex – If you see a new article about Rob telling the fan “Fuck no!” he won’t hold her like he held Kristen in their promo shot for Twilight, post it in “Daily Chatter” and “Rob News” if you so feel the desire!
We’re not sticklers about the rules and honestly, we’re not reading every single teeny tiny eency post anyway, so go for it! Make yourself at home; it IS “Rob’s Flat” after all…
