Nope, no Borders in Canada either Moon.
I’m going to check out out some comic shops, they might order some, or I may have to threaten/beg someone to bring some Edward figures in, lol.

@UC- yes, it is a tragedy of epic proportions that I can’t get my very own Edward doll.
Or any of the cool Twilight merchandise that Hot Topic carries, not without paying exchange rates and duty through the nose.
And I don’t know how slow my sister drives, but I can make it to Vancouver in 12 hours driving, lol. Gah! He’s only going to be 12 freaking hours away from me in March – now that’s truly a tragedy!!

@sid Although I am sad for you…how do you think I felt when I finally made it to LA and found out he was just two blocs up the street from me hanging out with Katy Perry! I was so so so so sad! Don’t worry we will find a way to get you an Edward doll. It is my mission!

Sid, I think I will get my Edward here in San Diego, snap some pics at the Zoo and definitely at Sea World, and then send him up to Canada for a little Vacay if that’s okay!

I did have to pay SEVENTY DOLLARS for it..but so worth it!!! Cuz they are sold out EVERYWHERE. It’s the one that was made for Borders especially and everything! Yay!! Now idk if I want to open it or not… becuz later down the road i might regret it… but I probably will cuz I need to write down all the dates Rob will be in town getting the dirty deed done with me!

Well, I went ahead and did it. I had to run my son to the mall tonight and I ended up buying the life-size cardboard cut-out of Edward. The clerk asked me if I wanted Bella too…I said, “No thank you.” and he shook his head and replied, “I can’t get rid of her, but this guy, I can’t keep in stock.” Shocking, I know.
So now I have to put Edward together and plan an outing!! Squeeeee!!!

My son, who is almost 10, asked me what I was going to do with life-sized Edward…I told him I wasn’t sure yet. He looked at me and said, “You’re probably going to take it out and kiss him at night when nobody is looking.” I feigned shock and assured him I wasn’t…

You cannot imagine how ridiculous I felt carrying Edward under my arm through the mall. I felt as if every eye was upon me, burning into me, thinking, “Isn’t that woman a bit old to be carrying on like that?”
But once I put him in the back of the minivan, and he dazzled me with his smoldering stare and golden eyes, all was well again!

@Sass that is SO funny! I saw that life-size Edward here at Chapters but they weren’t for sale and someone stuck a dibs post-it on it. You can’t get any of that stuff here. Otherwise… I can just see my husband’s face when I come home with it! Ha ha.
I got his poster under my bed (so Mr.F doesn’t see it). Ha ha

@Sass LMAO! I just told Mr.F and even he’s chuckling! But you have to move him- what if dh wakes up and sees him. He’ll think ‘intruder’ and club him or even worse (GASP) what Edward cannot indure ‘FIRE’. You could also forget he’s in your dining room and when you wake up tommorrow start screaming b/c someone is in your house!

Actually, Edward is still all bent up and in his protective wrapping, lol! I need to undress, er, take the plastic off of him, punch him out and unfold him, lmao!!! Good thing he is a vampire and doesn’t mind being very still, heh!
